Bats For Fruit
At the regular time
They swarmed from the cave
Flying foxes for fruit
At the end of the day
In the night they flew
To their favorite trees
And when they were through
They had planted seeds
And the trees spread
To other waiting floors
Where new fruit sweet
Soon grew galore
And they flew in loops
Though they couldn’t be blamed
As the fruit they ate
Made them quite insane
And Dracula was absent
And nowhere to be found
And these ones were all freaks
For the fruit around
