When you are a baby the entire house used to go into a frenzy at the sound of your cries
Everyone fuses and tries to think of a way to calm you down
Out of everyone in that house, your parents were the experts
They knew when you were about to cry and why
But, as the years went by they\'re expertise began to feign
As soon as they realize you\'re grown and have a mind of your own they try to bring you back
Back to the good old days when they knew everything about you because there wasn\'t much to be known
Isn\'t it ironic that these people who knew you so well for so long go deaf at the sound of your cries
Blind to the sight of your tears once you\'re older
They walk past your room every day, they gaze at the shut door and ignore the agony and pain that lies behind it
The people who use to wake up the entire house to soothe your pain are the same people who won\'t even put in the effort to knock on a door.
