I apologize.
My writing is quite dark, you see.
But this is the only way to get it out of me.
The only way for me to let it go,
The only way to let everyone know.
I don’t do well with self-expression.
Which is why I suffer from depression.
This is the easiest way to exercise my demons.
So forgive me, but I have my reasons.
I’m sorry if my poems are raw.
But otherwise my feelings begin to claw.
Claw at my heart, my mind, my soul.
Claw to the point that they begin to take a toll.
One last time, I’m really sorry.
That you have to see the somber side of me.
