Mom’s Greenhouse
It was our favorite project
The house that we made
With plastic all around
For warmth on colder days
There was room to spare
Where she could put her plants
And they were watered there
Before drought had a chance
The house was warm all year
And with plenty light
With all the plants there green
And very much alive
She had a ficus tree
That she moved there too
Safe and covered all day
And also a little spruce
There were crickets chirping
And a frog ribbiting some
In the house we prepared
For mom and her green thumb
