Summer heat suffercation
Thirst quenching dehydration
Sweat and soaked burning hot
Blazing sun boiling blood clot
Heart pumping fast running to the shade
Sun blurs your eyes and light starts to fade
Passing out and crawling with weights down
Mirages and delusional illusions around
Months pass and dead to the road
Flatened down to but stone
Weeks later to orange leaves
Sweat cools from your sleeves
From what now burnt all
All is freed by Fall
Freed and breathes taken deep
Peacefully passing out to sleep
Black out then wake up in the woods
The Fall leaves your path up the stairs
