Railride through the Alps

Passing painted prophecies
Vast hues of green and grey
Forests unfettered and full of vivacity
Through your eyes, fly away, fly away!

Winding woven awakenings
Whisper soft tones to your soul
Reaching higher than your imaginings
Where cruel beauty is taking its toll

Crawling cautious congregation
See secrets scattered ‘cross forest and field
The brush of nature’s persuasion
Unspoken unknowns start to yield

Leaping longed for luminosity
Shines chasms of light through the trees
Pushing through impenetrable mountains
So seeing eyes can begin to believe

Fleeting forragings fulfilled
Light into darkness spilled

But what now the vision has passed?
Will the dark in the light still be too vast?
