Last Call
It was a place for drinking
And they drank all they could
After work and on the weekends
With their buddies feeling good
Many there played pool
Some with their own sticks
And they bet at times like fools
But paid there debts off quick
There was music from the jukebox
With a variety of popular songs
And the waitresses selected them
Every evening long
The bartender was their friend
And liked to tell dirty jokes
As he wiped down the bar
And mixed their whiskey and cokes
There was the last call each night
As they drowned all their sorrows
And they had a final drink
Until the next one tomorrow
