My Fishing Friends
I have friends that are true
And they help me feel alive
When I struggle with the blues
And need some time outside
We sometimes go bass fishing
To lift our spirits up
And when we catch a keeper
We\'re thankful for our luck
I remember my younger days
With friends long ago
When we learned to fish
And enjoyed it so
Times were good those days
Fishing with my friends
And I have friends today
That remind me of them
My friends are dear to me
And there is love too
In our extended family
