Tom Wood

The Bell Chimes VII Times

I sat in a hammock

Gazed upon the blue sky

As it melted into butter

Leaving it, the wind, and I

The trees leaves were glistening

Orange, red, falling to the ground

Along happy couples walking

Every thing\'s purpose has been found

I take a deep breath

When a sound filled the air

It’s sound was so rich

It’s ringing so fair

It spoke full and hearty

My heart melted with joy

I nestled myself into the hammock

And felt just like a boy

The bell chimes seven times

Don’t ask me why

I’m just resting, watching the leaves dance

Leave it, the sky, the wind, and I
