I awoke with a song I\'d been looking for in my head
Like a tap turned on the lyrics repeating again and again
\"You light up another cigarette and I pour the wine\"
I try to drift back off but it\'s all that\'s on my mind
Needing to know the rest I start to type it in
The moment I see the title I\'m hit with all of it
Now I\'m up with a cup of hot water and a smoke
I begin to play the song, watching the movie of my life unfold
To be placed in a time I was so happy nothing could go wrong
Happily married with a child and earning enough for fun
I start to cry knowing this has all been and done
Then I find comfort in knowing loves beautiful lesson
For when I find that happiness I\'ll have more appreciation
Understanding the tears from the past are because I\'m back at a family station
This one\'s built on an unshakeable foundation
