More than

To say I love you more than life,
Would be completely true,
But then, I\'ve never favoured life,
The way that others do.

\"I love you more than air to breathe\",
Sounds a romantic score,
But air is filled with germs and dirt,
Its not hard to love you more.

I love you more than chocolate,
Understatement of the century.
Chocolate makes you fat, gives spots,
But you are filled with beauty.

I love you more than books,
Which you may think is a lot,
But books are just dead wood and words,
Eventually they rot.

I love you more than woodlands,
My favourite place to walk,
Or they were until I found out,
I could stay with you and talk.

I love you more than money,
But then its never been my love,
I\'ve never wished for riches, wealth,
So give that thought a shove.

I love you more than history,
My favourite subject,
But its just stories of the dead,
So that comparison\'s wreaked.

I love you more than animals,
Even the fluffy ones,
But then they run and bite and poo,
So you\'ll always be more fun.

I love you more than anything,
And nothing seems enough,
To tell you how I feel for you,
It all sounds like a bluff.

I cant think of an example,
Or comparison to show,
How much more I love you,
Than anything else I know.

So I\'ll have to give up trying,
On finding things to match,
How I feel when I\'m with you,
It all seems a mismatch.

Instead I\'ll simply settle,
For saying \"I love you\",
And hope that you can understand ,
There\'s nothing more than you.
