vanish

there are times, I am walking down the street,

and I feel like I could just dissolve into the mist.

There are times I wish I could disappear and just,

Stay in the dark invisible, emotionless,

To cure me,

Of this insatiable fear,

And the darkness within.

I am a monster,

With voices

In my head

An insufferable beast;

Leading a life of destruction

The destruction of my humanity.

So let me go

Let me fall

Into the darkness.

And disappear from the world

And vanish into the mist.
