Park Fun
We went down the slide
And had time to swing as well
In the park in summertime
When children could play a spell
The afternoon was a time
To see a birthday party
Where they let balloons go high
And enjoyed the day whole hearted
There was a merry-go-round
That made us a little dizzy
But the seesaw up and down
Stopped the world from spinning
Laughter we heard again
Coming from our kids
And we enjoyed the time we spent
Watching all they did
When park day was done
We returned to our homes
With a swing set once great fun
And a sandbox now out grown
