Labourers in the vineyard, they
Did work their ways deceitfully
Killing some prophets, and some beat
This how they God\'s servants did treat
So God, owner of the vineyard
Sent His Son, said they would think hard
And reverence Him, not abuse
Surely this be the thoughts they choose
But no, for they said, This the heir
Is, let us kill Him, so His share
Shall be ours, and so greedily
They forgot the owner, here see
For He would come, and destroy those
Who delighted and evil chose
And would give vineyard to others
To true Christian sisters, brothers
Christ is that Son, the cornerstone
Though He was deserted, alone
For the builders Him rejected
Though He turned out to be the head
The head of the corner, holding
Together firm all the building
And this was of the Lord\'s doing
