Something was wrong ~ so so quiet

NO beeping horns ~ squealing brakes
NO barking Dogs ~ or howling Cats

Mister Jones running for his Train ~ on SKIS ?
The penny dropped ~ We were hushed by SNOW !
THE SOUND OF SILENCE
THREE FEET of SNOW had silenced the VILLAGE
THREE FEET of SNOW had created a WONDERLAND.
THE SOUND OF SILENCE
I rang the COLLEGE ~ a recorded message said .....
COLLEGE CLOSED due to SNOW ~ don\'t come in !
THE SOUND OF SILENCE
I Skyped ANGELA ~ she cried when she saw the SNOW
Its been 28C (82F) here* today ~ Send in the SNOW !
I showed her my CAR buried under the SNOW
And I thanked GOD ~ I wasn\'t Senior Management
