unwelcome

In thy living room where all would stay,

The children sat silent, refusing to play.

Where the TV cried broken and gazing silence,

And the quiet was so harsh to it showing violence.

At the table these guests will quietly sit,

Leaving broken plates and not eating one bit.

Because sometimes actions speak louder than a claim,

And sometimes words can do the very same.

Where the music played and one would prance,

They all sat in silence to watch us dance.

When a joke was made and laughter flew in the air,

They sat so snobbily with no signs to care.

And when everyone screamed of joy and fun,

They left the door open and the lock undone.
