Music And Work
There was a bird on my sill
That awoke me right on time
When she whistled loud a trill
To help me rise and shine
After the trill I felt great
And my clock radio played a song
As I prepared for the day
And my labor long
At work there were some
Who always punched in late
With no bird to wake them up
Or clock radio that would play
Some finally heard their bird
And a radio they bought
And on time to work they were
When they punched in at the clock
And Saturday parties were great
With music all around
And our boss sometimes came
And really partied down
