Crazy At Times

Crazy At Times

I had no home at all any more

Since I’d been thrown out

To the streets I knew before

But hard and forbidding now

I made it to a homeless shelter

And got some food at noon

And I made friends with a helper

That had once been homeless too

Convinced I was being followed

I suspected it was the FBI

And they were never callow

But mistake-free all the time

I heard voices that insulted me

Everywhere I went

And I thought it was technology

Of a big brother government

The craziest it ever got

Was with my own family

All special agents I then thought

Grooming me for the presidency
