Grandmother\'s Little Hulk

Grandmother’s Little Hulk

She had a yard with 4-leaf clover

And had many flowers too

And whenever I came over

She always had something new

One day I found earthworms

While I was working the dirt

And from grandmother I learned

That I could catch a perch

On another day

I put fish parts in flower beds

As fertilizer she’d say

To revive the plants near dead

Bo Bo’s was the place

To purchase the flowers she grew

And I also went some days

And did what I could do

After I’d grown stronger

My job was spreading mulch

And I was a boy no longer

But was my grandmother’s little hulk

And when I was older

Grandmother let me weed

Until one day i told her

My hulk back was aching me

Grandmother knew I\'d grown

From all the hours we\'d worked

And that I\'d reached a milestone

And could work my own dirt
