Traveling

Within my raft, I see the fish swim under me. I can see the schools swimming; traveling as one, gliding in unison. I see the dancing of birds in the sky above. I see the one who sits and stares at me telling me, Now.

The sun burns my skin- irrelevant. The creak in my neck- irrelevant. The clouds- relevant.

The source- relevant. The rest- irrelevant. Crossing the path of the fish, one makes eye contact with me. He sees me.

Distracted, he stumbles then falls back in line. That fish will never see me again- irrelevant.

Unless this moment is on a loop, next life he sees me again- perhaps, relevant.
