Selfhood.
Liberation\'s trumpet blows loudest calls
to unwind and be bold
as fettered minds will feel no better \'til
thought becomes de-controlled.
Caged and muzzled souls unravel slowly
to freedom, believing
when dumbly adrift that expression wins
if for concord it homes.
So unhand my heart release and disband
bondage of long neglect,
leave hold of erroneous persuasion that
when shackled anguish bates.
Who I am is unique and of late choose
selfhood to celebrate,
this for sanity\'s sake and not for what
others think is my state.
