The LORD will return to His place
Until His people seek His face
And till they do confess their sin
Then He will with them new begin
In their affliction they will seek
The LORD, and be humble and meek
Saying, Come, let us now return
Unto the LORD, and His ways learn
For He has torn, and He will heal
He will consider our true weal* (*well-being)
He has smitten us, He will bind [us up]
Us, His mercies once more we find
After two days He will revive
Us, we know not then of deprive
On the third say He will us raise
We shall live, and to Him give praise
Then we shall know, if we follow
The LORD, pursue Him, His way go
His going forth it is prepared
As a new morning with us shared
He shall come to us as the rain
Showers of blessing be again
Latter and former rain He shall
Give, we His restoring grace tell
