There’s really nothing I can do to slow down time
You can’t stop a river’s flow when you’ve overcome every obstacle
It starts out with hope and faith
Then the water picks up and it’s fear and doubt
And all you can do is focus on the good
But negative things love to intrude on those moments
Big numbers are turning into smaller ones
It’s getting sadder
Who knew that the most important step to getting closer to happiness
Has been sadness all along
