Pigeon Flights
They banked to the left
As we were standing there
And we were quite impressed
At their maneuvers in the air
They flew to their hangar
Where they rested their wings a while
Where bad weather was no danger
And where their coos made us smile
On sunny days were building ledges
Where they perched all day
No longer afraid of owls
That screeched to scare them away
The park was a place they liked
And was where they refueled
Then again they would fly
To the hangar on bread crumb fuel
And the flight schedule continued
With birds flying here and there
And the hangars they returned to
Had little space to spare
