More Often Than Not.

I have the love, I have the hope
Primrose, butterflies and a dream.
I miss the past, on clouds I float
to shine through what it means.

As of incidental pain and the lies
hear the sensation, hold a flower,
let it grow inside of your own cries
when compliments last every hour.

Beside a meadow a magpie chirps,
Silver tops loving and living for fun.
4 pennies a heart and all it\'s worth
but, it was all over before it\'d began.

I reach to the stars, I start to plod on,
open all hours jogging down notes.
And, trust the good old Wizard of Oz
when armoury was covered in coats

Along with the city streets, I\'d keel over
like sunken ships are singing in deep seas.
Portholes poking out to look for a lover
shouting let me out, please, oh, please.

Hardened skin crocodiles taste a thirst
for breeding into life a love that\'ll grow
and as damaged emotions fill up a first
and overloaded railway tracks go slow.

I\'ll hold your hand, but you keep mine.
Some time ago now, but I sure forgot
that bonding is precious for a lifetime
to remember never to lose your plot.

As Wordsworth danced with his daffodil
my cloud came along floating in a stride,
and when it showed how not to get ill,
but to let it out for love and our pride.

Standing on shoulders more often than not
becoming a man doesn\'t mean what you got.
Glorious lovers and ladies alike like to dream
where hearts melted, and spirits can be mean.

Back in the box, back to a particular place
I\'d like to bow now I can see your face.
I\'m hurting inside, but a shallow outside
I\'ve worked it out to take love for a ride.

Seashells glisten upon the sandy shore
Caves alive with a hundred candles alight.
The chorus cry as they shout out for more
Candles blew out quickly, time for a Nit Nite.
