He\'s got 4 on the floor and he\'s heading for the door
And he doesn’t give a damn that She cant get round the pram
So He grabs for something fragile, but she turns out to be agile
And She moves it out the way, and there’s that word he cant yet say!
Sammy....
He\'s always getting faster but he\'s not yet quite the master
Of the art or is it science that has to do with balance
But that doesn\'t stop him trying and even sometimes crying
when trying brings disaster, a cut and sticking plaster.
Sammy....
He sometimes contemplates us, and will quietly wait and watch us
as we gurgle and we coo as only he should really do.
Then he laughs to ease the tension and reward the good intention...
Of the ones who are waiting for that smile.
