Once apon a memory

Once apon a memory,
In a mind that is far and wide,
There lives a world,
So deep within that we do not always notices it,
But when we do,
we remember,

We are happy in this place,
called by some nostalgia,
Or by others the good old days,
But whatever we call it,
We all have one,

Some people have a vast land,
Full of wild and exciting memories and moments,
Some people have a small but precious land,
Where everything is sacred,
But whatever land type is had,
Big or small,
Just beginning or ancient,
They never erode and disappear,

But some get trapped,
Too deep within the mind,
That we loose them,
That even though we try,
Disease and tragedies,
Ripped us from our land,

we are left with no new memories or land,
No matter how great the moment,
Or how precious the time is,
We are left,
We must cling to the few grains we have left,
Of the once great land.

We are left with just a once apon a memory.
