Be patient till the return
Of the Lord, for His day yearn
As a farmer has patience
Till the needed rain comes hence
To water o\'er all the land
Provided by God\'s good hand
Be patient then, stablish hearts
Waiting throughout all life\'s parts
For His coming does draw near
Soon He shall to all appear
Judge not one another, for
The Lord be Judge evermore
See the prophets example
They did hear the Lord\'s sure call
They spoke in His name, and they
Suffered affliction those days
And patiently persevered
The Lord, He they humbly feared
We count them who happy do
Endure patiently, \'tis true
See the patience of Job too
Suffered troubles not a few
And see the outcome, the Lord
He was faithful to His word
He did reveal to Job sure
His mercies tender and pure
And His deep pity it be
Shown him compassionately
In the end he all restored
Praised and glorified his Lord
