Tune: Laudes Domini
(\'When morning gilds the skies\')
Psalm 92 v.1-5
********
It is a good thing to
Give thanks here unto you
To the Lord. here so do
And to sing praises to
Your name, LORD, ever true
Prosperities ensue
You most High, LORD of all
Help those who on you call
Trusting, we shall not fall
Show your loving-kindness
Your good intent to bless
You faithful, we confess
Show each morning and night
Through dark or daylight bright
God\'s grace dawns on our sight
Play instruments, ten strings
Each to you worship brings
To you creation sings
Take harp and lute and lyre
Inspired with holy fire
The LORD\'s name do admire
Play harmoniously
Sincere, melodically
Expressing praises free
For you LORD make me glad
Through your works, I not sad
My state not ill or bad
I will triumph, so be
In works of your hands, see
They reach even to me
O LORD, your works be great
Not of mere chance or fate
Nor revealed to us late
And your thoughts very deep
To us, we be your sheep
Good Shepherd, you us keep
