My sins I did confess to you
Lord, who are holy and true
You did see my penitence here
I did bow in godly fear
And you did forgive, and me aid
The price of my sins you paid
So shall every one who godly
Be, they shall pray to you, see
In a time when you may be found
They shall hear the joyful sound
Of sins forgiven, it announced
By you, to us it pronounced
Surely in floods of great waters
You shall guide us to safe shores

Sovereign Lord, you at the helm
You my hiding place are, you shall
Preserve me, defend me well
You shall with songs here surround me
