In this National Organ Donation Awareness Week
I started worrying about actually being dead!
I mean physically
I have my Christian faith and hope of new life
Going on after my physical death
But I think - a bit ghoulish?
Unless one opts out next Spring
You\'ll be opted-in for organ donation
Conjures up scenes a bit
Of \'Aha!\' (rubs hands in glee)
\'Another one popped their clogs -goody!\'
Yet I shall be dead!
I shan\'t feel a thing
And it can help others to live
Yet - scary?
A bit like being buried in pieces - as well as in peace?
And animal experiments too -
There must be other ways to research
