Butterfly

Butterfly

Oh butterfly how can you spread your wings

How bright

Wings that have holes that are still able to fly

Eyes that are closed but know how to guide

Rare to catch easy to hide

Oh butterfly

You glide so gentle across the water

When your wings are wet

Your flap them even harder

Hard to go up

But you refuse to go down

Oh butterfly

Flying around and around

You have been flipped up side down

Backwards and around again

Some how you still have a mind and a heart

And a face that is recognized as a friend

Nothing can break you

Nothing would make you fall

I believe you are to good for us all

But you never look down

Only up

Even at night you would rather fly blind then to stop from finding what\'s really up

Up is a place where you have never been

Yet you are sure you will find it

Not now but when

You never know but that never stops your flow

I have finally found you

I know you leave soon

Oh butterfly

Take me with you show me the sun

Show me the rainbow

Show me whats on the brighter side of things

Because I\'m always underneath

Oh butterfly

How high can I fly?

Help my dark wings become bright

Heal my holes because I\'m not like you

I can\'t keep flying when the air goes through

The holes in your wings seem to make you brighter

The holes in mine feel a lot more lighter

When I see your face that\'s just want you do

You make me feel light on my feet

Making me feel like I can get through

Oh butterfly where are you going?

Your way to special to let go

It\'s way to hard to find one more

One more butterfly like you

I doubt I\'ll find another one to help me get through

Oh butterfly where are you?
