I\'ll carry on regardless, carried along with love
Too early for forgiveness, too late for the dove
We have the Sun, the skies, the Moon and Stars
And the Earth, Saturn, the Milky Way and Mars.
There\'s a perfect-picture poster-card of a romance
We\'ll swing from star to star and learn how to dance
With happy-feet on our side, we slave to the rhythm
Keep a heart beating and kiss everyone that\'s given.
Now to touch upon a poets mind is a gift from God
To write over the Universe if he just gave us the nod
But, nevertheless, were still young and a wall is high
Jacks nimble, Jacks quick, Jack jumped over the sky.
And rehearse the sketch for when the Sun Fades
We\'ll be walking pastures through our everglades
And to smell the sweet coconut and drink its milk
We\'ll find some poetry and wrap ourselves in silk.
With a humbling whispering voice in my ears
Cried a million shadows shouted out my tears
And if, if you decide to carry on regardless too
We\'ll Sun upon the meadows flowered over you.
And when the tide is high and there\'s no return
We\'ll ebb away our sorrows in order so we learn
How to hold back from what you want to share
When the world tells you nobody will really care.
And yet, still, I sit in one place writing some more
Yet, I had mentioned about poetry walking the floor
But, as the mind blossoms and a recipe for a life
To reveal the single currency of a new lovers wife.
I hear you say a million words all within a dime
I see you feel a million emotions just like mine
So softly is this voice of hope, peace and unity
So caring is my pen when you love it generously.
Let\'s dream away some dreams to think about
Dream some up and don\'t leave anything out
We can wish upon our lonely stars at night
We can think of being tucked up in goodnight.
Our lasting adoration within the love we give
Thinking about you is like thinking on to live
Although nothing ever appears to be perfect
We\'ll change that idea and use some intellect.
Another party\'s over, another star is born
Another life has taken and another heart torn
And after love grows the afterlife has gone
I\'ll hold hearts out with an everlasting song.
