We go through lives and see all,
See all around us.
We know what is there,
What is ahead of us.
But if we look and see nothing
Thoughts come to us,
And new images are seen,
Those images of beauty and wonder.
Images that we imagine,
And that imagination can show us,
Show us things that are not there,
Bringing light into our lives
As we dream,
Dream of our life,
Our life that is not there
But is the one for which we aim,
And will one day be ours.
