Not realising
How the
Repetitions
Of life
Drains the
Life out
Of our
Veins-
Like a machine
We
Exist-
Motionless
To the turning
Of times
Hands-
Distant
From Gods
Plan-
Controlled
Without
Letting go-
To this
Illusion
Full of
Confusion-
Finding
A place
In time-
Reflecting
Inner
Yearning-
But not
Discerning
The
Truth
Lost
Along with
Youth-
When the
Seconds of time,
Play with
Your mind-
What was
There to find-
In this
Motionless
Time-
The clock
Didn\'t stop-
And the
Mind
Overwound
Without closure-
To the
Exposure
Of what
Each second
Did
Hold-
When the
Heart turned
Cold
And the
Life ran
Dry-
So many
Questions
Still remain-
Why?
