And now I hear you\'ve cried for help
My heart begins to flutter as it melts
I read your posts on your Instagram
Where you wrote a poem with a man.
I saw a nice smile upon your face
As you said that you have no place
But, all I could say was to look at me
A conscience of love in me you see.
And if only I could feel your heart
As the Moonlight turned into dark
But, as she wrote upon her FB wall
Her life had run dry so I took her call.
As I read the new poem she wrote
Her Twitter account, she left a note
And I was overthrown by her tears
I left alone all those lonely old fears.
Social media found us all over each other
My pen went mad and fell in love with her
So I asked her if she\'d written me a letter
She replied \"of course I have\" made it better.
And I emailed her on my Yahoo account
She replied again to a recurring sound
Of a yes, yes can we somewhere meet
And as I looked to angels above to greet.
Falling stars with my heart to all give away
On these pages, we love to write every day
Now I\'ve known her a while, but never met
I dare to say we never will as I lay down a bet,
If she scores a double six she\'ll fall for love
Because of when I prayed to the Lord above
And why the reason for cyberspace to call in
She disappeared and so I threw her in the bin.
Now love has fallen just this one last time
I\'ll think of her and I\'ll play love if it\'s mine
To treasure the trove of an innocent mind
The treasures you never know what to find.
And as another page is ready to read again
I\'ll apologise for the love she\'ll never blame
My heart broke in two, but it\'s not over you
As I start to wreck my work I\'ll do what I do.
And that\'s to say that I\'m still writing along
Without the thoughts of love growing wrong
So I sing praise to the one who outdrew me
Her gesture left as she sailed the seven seas.
What never threw me was the stance I stood
To know when love arrives as if it ever would
And to show the mind of a man who will know
When found upon a meadow love should grow.
