Basement Wall

Rain, it calls

For those without a soul

Rain, it falls

But first, we pay the toll

Vines, they crawl

Along the basement wall

Still, I watch the rain fall --

Regret creeps down to all

My head is throbbing

As I fly, as I fly

What is not alarming?

I have flown before

My heart is dying

As I fall, as I fall

Why am I not flying?

I crawl along the basement wall

So, fall, rain, fall

Escape from it all

What is not alarming?

My head is throbbing.
