This POEM is presented as a Blank Verse (iambic pentameter) 5 6 3
Sonnet. This consistent meter (10 syllables per line) makes it very
reciteable ~ despite the absence of rhyme ! ANGELA & I are both
Performance Poets and we would stress that one of the main criteria
of a GOOD POEM is its reciteability ! I have chose a BENJAMIN
ZEPHENIAH VIDEO in which He recites his famous POEM - TURKEYS
He is another example of an awesome Performance Poet ! Get a copy
it is excellent for a Christmas Party or Poetry Reading ! All Benjamins
Poems have excellent Rhyme & Rhythm ! WARNING ! For max effect
it must be read with a West Indian Accent ! Dialect Poetry (Robbie
Burns etc) is another MINEFIELD ! Angela & I do BURNS SUPPERS !
