I Simeon, Christ-child have seen
Promise fulfilled has been
Promise of Christ, His salvation
Come unto each nation
So now let me your servant leave
Depart, for I believe
Depart in peace, so according
To your word, you did bring

For humankind, each one
You prepared Him before the face
Of all people, by grace
