Poetic Dan

Work & poetry

I\'m going to be as honest as I can in this post, due to wishing to express something else at the same time.

The owner of Quito the Dalmatian was at her wits end as she had seeked professionally highly qualified help already, things were just getting worse!

I\'m never sure of how to put this but from my point of view and experience, the more paper theses experts have to please the people the less, I feel they have to understand the dog or the people.

They come with a lot of knowledge this I cannot deny, make it all sound logically true but did they try and see the results!

To work with instinct in a moment\'s notice with any nanor of events that can transpire, will not come from studying alone, it comes from every life lesson and knowing yourself more than most!

Of course any being can look nervous for a moment but if the rest of the time it is to excited or gives no space, then it\'s more than likely just dominating you or just no boundaries.

Our dogs behaviour is as complex as us because it\'s nothing but us! If not then we are trying to rehabilitate someone else\'s stuff.

I never thought there would be a day where I do what I do but it\'s slowly getting harder to do, it\'s never because of the dog, if I had room I\'d take them all on.

In the UK we ban Pit Balls but yet think we have the right understanding to judge the rest, if the help that you are hiring for advice does not see energy first, breed second, then the only information you\'ll get is from a text book.

Nothing is born bad, everything has a blue print. If you want to see proof or certificates, I am it and every writing or video we post to show a pinch of what we do.

Doing what I & not many others thought I could, but still need help to get my message out as there!

In this video I help the dog learn that he no longer controls the walks or the ability to mark territory. A Halti was tried on the first session and as expected he did not like me taking full control of where he\'s head can go, this time I used the skateboard to help keep things moving!

Happy days
