The derivation of BAYSWATER ~ both mytical & strange
A Horse was given to Four Brothers by Emperor Charlemagne !
Only one could drive ~ so the other three sat behind
And when they did the horse grew LONGER ~ MAN it blows yer mind !
The name of the Horse was BAYARD ~ nick-name for a Horse
And BAYSWATER became the name of the Horses Watering Source !
CANARY WHARF
CANARY WHARF has nuffin ~ No nuffin ~ to do wif BIRDS
It is just anovver example of ~ the precociousness of WORDS !
CANARY ISLES were named from CANIS (Latin word for DOG)
And CANARY WHARF was the BANANA & FRUIT importing PORT !

The Stations all have fascinating NAMES and they were used extensively
as AIR RAID SHELTERS in WW2 (1939 - 45) and saved many lives.
Every LONDONER worships the *UNDERGROUND* and London Relations
of mine (BRIAN) have a framed map of the *UNDERGROUND* on their
Dining Room wall ! ANGELA was raised in LONDON so she has a very
good working knowledge of the TUBE ! Since moving to ESSEX with
my PARENTS ~ I (BRIAN) am learning to be *London Underground Man*
We NEVER EVER take our cars into LONDON ! We take the Train into
Liverpool Street and TUBE or BUS from there ~ AMEN !
