Diary Entry Number...

This is my life and this is how it goes
Diary entry number 86 end of school
Undercover where everybody knows
Play the joker, the jester play the fool.

This is my book and this is how it reads
A whisper, a dream, a million memories
Around the block, around another bend
A broken man, a broken heart he\'d lend.

This is the way and this is where it flows
Tired pavements where nobody grows
And when the rain keeps beating down
Play the genie, a smoke of silent sound.

This is my brave so a silver sword I hold
Back to back when love can\'t be ever told
And when my heart starts beating over you
Diary entry number 1 gone back to school.

This is the depth and the hole I dug in one
Pull down the building if everyone is done
Another trick, another explosion goes off
A memory made to rummage in loves loft.

This is my heart and this is how it bleeds
Cut through the cord, cut out your needs
This vein is blue and is hurting over you
Another heart, another love sounding true.

This is my place and this is where I stay
Over mountains of confusion start to stray
And when the trees fall down beside us
I burned and buried all the people\'s trust

This is the year and the length it will take
Diary entry number is the last one I wrote
Flowers and daisies every morn they wake
Writing poetry if I start jogging down notes.

This is the time and it took to me to a place
Where rainbows crossed the love of grace
And if your heart starts crying all over you
Wipe away a pain and change what you do.

This is the end and as I lost the bloody lot
New beginnings are where I control the plot
Another million memories have just been made
Under Moonlight and under the sunshine rays.

This is the diary entry number now laid about
Writing over our rainbows without loves doubt
And if there\'s life left to build a pillar of hope
Where the blues learn to teach how to cope.

This is my tear and this is what it cries
Around the block, around another bend
Another loss, another pain that never dies
A broken man, a broken heart he\'d lend.
