Silent Dreams

Diphylleia Grayi (Skeleton Flower)

The juvenile man stood in ponder, peering at his haggard reflection casted in the mirror. His eyes seemed drowsy, filled with gloom and somewhat despondent. With a slight tremble, he inched his hand towards a tangerine tinted tub. He tilted it slightly, the contense spewing into his palm.

The youngster was known for being exuberant, seeming to never be caught without a beam. This factor concealed the contrary emotions portrayed in his music. His lyrics flowed with mournful blue, simply slipping by the listeners ears, being completely oblivious. His hollers were silent, a deep guilt of being a burden buried inside his heart.

He was like a flower, becoming transparent in his sorrowful times. His joyful and pure white petals being the surface of him. Overtime, his heart became a damp void, feelings fading with every breath. Although, he kept the burden of living up to his image; being the delightful and graceful white skeleton flower. Even as the breeze became numbing and violent, he did not pass with it. The rain, however, was a leaden weight to disregard. The passion to dismiss his suffering had eventually became an agony. The pure petals withered into eternal transparency, anguishing his soul, so much he was drenched in heartbreak and misery.

He had become a transparent skeleton flower.

The man contemplated the solids, his mind bustling. His senseless eyes glanced back at his broken reflection once more, before shutting his lids and digesting the pills. And like the fate of any flower, the diphylleia grayi becomes victim to the wind, it\'s life to a tragic culmination.
