A New Day

The reasons why one falls

are a wave of self-doubt

inflicted within one’s lord to call.

Apathy to give order to one’s rock

dignifies behind a black mask

and all it takes is one maybe two knocks.

To rid ourselves of one and two

has no righteous relevance

unlike time’s treatment of a Jew.

Many hold the one accountable

as a reaper of their own wine

with a style that is phenomenal.

To order one’s fall, to order one’s reason

has a sea of doubt with outward ripples

and an ill-fated calling to a universal inception.

A new day arises

as a colored-brick road

leads the way to our highness.
