All the CATHOLIC Saints are Real People. They were BEATIFIED elevated to the status of *SAINT* because of their Faith & Holy Living and accredited Miracles. SAINT VALENTINE (AD 226 - 269) was martyred on 14th February 269. He was A Christian Priest under Emperor Claudius. Roman Soldiers were forbidden to marry and Claudius needed a strong Army ! VALENTINE secretly married some Christian Roman Soldiers so they were exempt from Service ! VALENTINE also refused to worship Roman Gods so Claudius put Him in Prison & ordered his execution. While He was in Prison he prayed for the Jailers Daughter and she was cured of BLINDNESS ! On the day of his execution he sent her a note which said *With Love from Your VALENTINE* AMEN Love ๐งก Blessings to ALL Angela & Brian ๐งก
