It has a head a majestic green
As great a bird as you\'ve ever seen
There goes one now, down the stream
It must feel proud, so supreme
Sometimes it lets out an almighty quack
Perhaps the very earth itself might crack
They often must fight for great fame and glory
Nowhere will you find a better story
How amazing are ducks?
Covered in feathers a comforting brown
No on could ever look at one and frown
Merrily they lead their chicks along
Together they sing the sweetest song
Protective and loyal and fierce too
And a great deal more than me or you
You won\'t believe the pressure they feel
It just makes everything seem so real
How amazing are ducks?
What\'s that dead thing right over there
You know what, I really don\'t care
They have such a pristine orange bill
Made to talk and learn and kill
Out in the wild they\'ve done so well
And off their perch they never fell
On a great river on a sunny day
The demand bread and the people obey
Some care for bravery or cunning or luck
But none of that matters when you are a duck
