In our lives we can walk into tunnels,
Dark tunnels of life.
And as we travel them we look forward,
Look forward to the light,
The light for which we search.
There in the distance we see it
And as we move towards it
Our lives get better.
The nearer we reach that light
The better our lives are.
Then comes the time,
The time when we reach out,
Reach out for the light,
And that is when it happens
The bloody roof caves in!!
