Parables Jesus revealéd
To His disciples not hid
Were their meanings, their mysteries
Shown to them, not mere stories
They granted these graces to know
Veiled teachings of kingdom [of God] so
Yet to others hidden, concealed
Were their truths, the outcomes sealed
For some would see, but they not see
Not perceive what meanings be
And would hear, but not understand
The things shown them by God\'s hand (= His Spirit)
Whether seed of God\'s word does fall
It shall fall on one and all
Pathway, rocks, or thorns, or good soil
Help us Lord to hear your call
