The other morning we got out for a crack of dawn walk, sometimes on this wonderful hour we get to meet those that try to avoid busy times, or any other dogs.
I was hoping Dana would do a morning dew rub on video, it does look so much fun! To my surprise we got a wonderful greeting straight away, sadly the owner was calling on deaf ears and not happy about it!
Walking towards him I turn off diagonally, hoping the dog would go join its pack. As I walked to the other side of an old golf course, the dog came back! A very happy Dana got to go play again..
I thought I\'d walk the dog back to him, he didn\'t look that bothered, he tried to call the dog a couple of times and stop there....so I asked if he want to put the dog on a lead, he went straight into saying about most people have a go at him...
My first words were: \"probably because you don\'t have control of your dog.\" He started to tense up, \"you obviously don\'t know dogs\" telling me his dog was fine! It\'s a very special case to train (aren\'t we all?)
I tried not to match his vibration and replied...
\"NO! it is demanding, the wise old boy (Jack) had to put him in his place.\"
Training no dog is easy and nothing helps a dog learn more than another dog, at this point he actually stopped and said that\'s a fair point! But why does everyone have pop at me? He asked...
Again I said it needed to be put on a training lead, his reply was but \"he\'s 6 and to old for that\" I didn\'t hand him a card.
The day before someone also told me that their breed of dog does not listen until they are 3 years old...
I get told many things that people believe and with all the old passed on theories about animals behaviour or correcting it. As free as we are to make those choices, each outcome is uniquely different.
Dogs are following their rules, it\'s just us that\'s forever trying to understand it! Forgetting our own blue print of clear body language and the energy that surrounds it...
We still go to puppy classes thinking we need to teach them!
In my opinion theses wonderful animals are slowly condition by our beliefs, and with this comes an illusion of a Doctor Dolittle World!
For if we truly cared and understood them, there would not be a banned breed, so many in shelters (with no chance of parole), need for rehabilitation or put to sleep.
I don\'t know how I got here, although most of my life I have struggled not to break our human rules. I\'m now at a point I feel my purpose was never to agree with them all along.
From a little nobody wanting nothing more than watch my children grow, I thank my son and humanity\'s labelling 10 years ago.
My reality got shifted to show what vibration I was giving, now everyday I listen better to natures little warnings. We over think and get lost in the infinite amount of advice, forgetting in our instincts is the knowledge of life.
They are my teachers, I just want to pass the message on. Hoping one day this ripple will help bring balance and harmony to us all!
Not top of the food chain but more the spiritual ball, where we know we do the worse damage yet let the programming continues.
This is my passion & pursue that I was close to giving up, all because I still thought I\'m not good enough. Not for the dogs but for most humans as all our realities are our own.
I\'m no longer afraid to make mine more known, pushing past any judgement, criticism or going unnoticed . All things help growth, I can\'t stop what I started.
This is my first blog with my all my spirit for this job, and a step towards me doing a met up once a week for anyones Q & A.
