As they stalk in the night
A lost mouse might be an easy catch

Does he like to play?
Before devouring her whole
Savouring all the best bits
Consumer and consumed
What will remain?
Spat out and embalmed in her own fur
The bits that were too much to digest?
Discarder and discarded
